FIG Business Network is a network of interdependent businesses boldly answering the great commission. We are a network of trustworthy Christian business associates who strive to be authentically Christian in values, beliefs and practice. God puts people in our lives who will help us in the path he has for us. Devine connections propel and help us to impact the world. The network has the following objectives:
- To build capacity and capability among members by providing learning opportunities to increase their earning potential
- To achieve investment/business sustainability and growth through networking
- To foster ethical investment/business practices in the communities
- To raise investors/businesspersons with a heart for the great commission
SHARP AXE was setup with the sole aim to further the objectives of FIG Business Network of improving earning potential of members and raise businesspersons with a heart for the great commission.
Pitch Format:
FIG Business Network offers a SHARP AXE fund of USD1, 000.00 (CASH) to the entrepreneur (individual/group) who make the most brilliant business pitch before a panel of adjudicators who assess and evaluate the business idea and determine the profitability and sustainability of that particular idea.
This money saves as the initial capital to launch or take your business to the next level. FIG Business Network will also assist in the company registration (if the project is not registered) and offer business advise for the growth and sustenance of the business.
Pitch Guidelines
· You will have no more than 5 minutes to deliver your pitch.
· Include in your pitch your name, your location, and your background.
· Share your business mission and products and services.
· Who is your target market or customer?
· State your current progress towards your plans.
· What do you need to get there?
This is your chance to sell your story and get others to invest in your dream, spread the word or provide support.
Tips for your pitch
· Keep it succinct and simple!
· Show your passion for your business plans!
· Be clear about what you will accomplish with your business.
· Remember that your pitch is meant to inform, engage and market.
· Demonstrate your belief in your success by using confident language like, "I will" and "We can."
